Progress Report: Easter

 
Well, I can't say I expected to get a lot done this past week or weekend, nor will I have time next weekend.

Saturday, I edited a little on the fanfic (realize the opening needs to be pruned, but there is no TIME) and then noveled, writing two pages long hand. That night, went to a cook out and Blade Runner viewing at the friends' place. Was out until 1 AM; gosh darn was it fun! Today, slept in, showered, jump in the car and drove to Sun City to see all the Old Folks. Grandma, two Grand Aunts, one aunt, and neighbors. Had some excellent ham and sweet potatoes. Came home with enough ham to feed me the rest of this week, happily, and grapefruit and lemons (gonna freeze the juice and use it for my thai chicken soup sometime, mmm). It just so happens I'll be able to clear out my fridge by Saturday when my eldest sister comes down with my 5 month old niece, Emma! I'll have Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues off, but that probably won't leave me much time for writing. Believe me, I'm going to try.  My self-imposed deadline is approaching swiftly and I am not quite a quarter of the way there (that's what I get for throwing away a week and a half to fanfic).

Goal for tomorrow: type shit up at work, quick grocery run, laundry (2 loads), cook food for the rest of the week, clean. Word Count is bonus.

Daily Goal, Tues-Fri: 750 words (that's high, but if I do 300-ish at work, 500 at home is not asking too much).
