Great Escape: Sighting #3
Oct. 19th, 2011 06:43 am Well, I've had a nap and resumed my search.
On the up side, it is much easier to search for the cat in daylight.
On the down side, it is not easier.
People are up and about and Bunny doesn't like people. Or cars that aren't stationary.
On my first walk around, I ran into lots of old people (3) who were doing nothing but walking around. I asked them if they'd seen an all-black cat, and they said no, which was not a good sign. Next, I spotted a cat, but not my cat. Which didn't make me feel any better. And then I spotted Bunny by the tennis courts. She saw me, froze. She was a ways away. I took out her toy (in retrospect, I should've favored the noms as a lure. It's about time for them) and she ran away from me. Disappeared. I looked all around the area, but there were about three different directions she could have gone. I'm taking a break, aka, keeping the front door open with a full bowl of food on the inside to coax Bunny back inside if she stops by.
Why doesn't my cat /come home/.
