Great Escape: SIGHTINGS
Oct. 27th, 2011 10:45 pmSo I got not one, but TWO phone calls at work from my friends at the complex saying that Bunny was sitting at their door, and the other saying she was sitting on their car. When I got home, I checked the food dish and instead of the usual orange and white hairs, there were black hairs. Was so excited I called effex to tell her waaaay too late at night to tell her the news. After I hung up, saw movement outside the door, but it was just that asshole orange cat. Went right out to go look and as soon as I went swinging my flashlight around the car park and between two cars was a little all black cat staring at me. It was Bunny shaped and when she ran, I saw the tail and the tail was 100% Bunny. She ran and I had to go around the building while she could dart through. I shook the cat food and called her.
Orange cat came.
Orange cat followed me all over. No way Bunny was coming over. Called effex again because I SAW BUNNY!!!! On the down side, Orange cat.
I still had chicken to make for dinner, so I went back to throw it in the oven. Just as I was about to put my bird in, the guy from across the hall who smokes out in the parking lot burst in, saying, "I saw your cat. She ran from me, but I know where she is!" so we ran out and he directed me over and as he was talking, I heard my Bunny. It was her voice, just one little cry. I shooshed him.
Bunny, my little one, darted out. We followed, but lost sight of her again. He said he'd go back and get his flashlight and came back with a tiny useless thing. I told him to keep looking and I'd be back with a real flashlight.
When I turned it on, he called it a spotlight.
Am going right back out in a bit. She keeps coming right back to this area tonight.
Am relieved; she's close. I can be relatively sure it was her. At least I know her where-abouts.
