New Kitty's Vet Trip and Name?

I’m holding off on officially naming the new kitty, but I’ve a pretty good feeling about Coco. Chere Coco Chanel, to be precise.

Tonight I brought her in for her wellness check. She needed shots, but I especially wanted to get her sneezes and ear scratching checked out. On the up side: no respiratory infection, no ear mites, both which would have been worse case scenarios. On the down side, her ears were irrigated because they were a) disgusting and b) have a bacterial infection. The sneezing is from what amounts to the common (cat) cold. That means the cats will remain segregated at least ‘til Monday. ‘Til Coco stops sneezing, really.

I’m a bit concerned about her. She drank water last night and I assume at other times today, but she refuses the food I’ve put out. Yesterday, I chalked it up to having the surgery. You just don’t feel yourself after surgery and all that crap. But still. No interest in food today either. I’ll get some chicken baby food tomorrow on the way home from work. If she won’t eat that, I’m not sure there’s any food she’ll eat.  I’d be worried if she were lethargic, or seemed miserable, but no. She’s happy, just. Not inclined to jump or do anything strenuous, which the doctor said was normal.

Will keep an eye out.
