Coco ate a slice of toast and a good portion of my Coco Pebbles. We'll see how that works out for her.

I have a voice project I want to do, but it's going to cost me about $100. Don't know if a one-time project is worth that much. Then again, if I ever want give podcasting another go, it'd be very handy to have all the equipment readily available.

In any event, I've got a synthesizer! Got it at Junky's for $7.50. Suspected the batteries to run it would be more and sure enough, they were $13.  And now I have an full-sized synthesizer, like, woa. Am reminded that my last attempt at piano was in late middle school/high school and even after eight years of playing the cello almost every day, I was never good enough to dare a solo. Not in the least bit musically inclined, but I can do some music bits, if the mood strikes my fancy.

I didn't receive any viable response to my last ad on craigslist seeking a roommate. Reposted today, we'll see what happens this time. I have, like, a month and a half to find somebody to fill the basement or get a second job to fulfill my (not so) rampant consumerism.

Am more or less done w/ secret santa gifts. Want to be lazy today, but there is writing to do and if I want a different job. . .hey, I'm a dedicated sort who can get a job done if I focus. Hell, I could get this done if I give it my 25%.
