Goes Somer * Goesomer * Gossamer

So while I was driving home the other night the 'check engine' light and a flashing 'HOLD' light popped on in my otherwise smooth-running car. And by smoothly running car, I mean, the car with a crack in its windshield, broken visor, an odometer that lies dead for the first 10 minutes of any drive before springing to life, and needs its spark plug changed.

Apparently, Grandfather knows of a mechanic whom he trusts in the area; will see if I can’t get the ol’ tax collector taken in to the shop tomorrow. There goes the Christmas money I’d hoped to use to purchase furnishings for a new apartment. Who doesn’t love surprises?
