Made my back-up hotel reservations for Comic-Con . Somehow managed to find something at $460 for 4 nights in Clairemont which, lemme tell you, is damn impressive. It's like they never got the it's-the-Comic-Con-weekend,-you-can-charge-whatever-you-want memo.  Saw lodging still available in Old Town. So tempting, so very, very tempting but not worth the extra $600 it would cost me. (Hell to the no).

Now is the time to look through Couch Surfers to find some soul who mightn't mind hosting IDRIS for 4 nights. That, or maybe find someone who wants to share hotel. Or hell, even someone who'd like to hang out a bit.
